Jessica graduated from Sydney University with a Bachelor of Applied sciences Occ therapy in 2008.
Gaining a range of clinical and leadership skills across a number of clinical areas in the public and private hospital settings both in Australia and the UK.
In 2016, Jess found her passion for treating acute upper limb and hand injuries whilst working in the NSW state Wide Burns Service at Concord Hospital in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. It was this experience which sparked her interest and career in hand therapy.
Jess is currently working part time with the Hand therapy group whilst employed Part time at the Canterbury Hospital hand therapy service to which she was involved in the set up of the new service and ongoing service delivery.
Jess has a particular interest in assessing and treating patients with complex wound care and scar management needs. She enjoys working in a team and is working towards becoming an accredited hand therapist.
